In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 the Radeon HD 5830 defeated the old 4890 by a 19% margin. It was just 5% slower than the much more expensive GeForce GTX 285, and trailed the 5850 by a relatively small 6% performance margin. At 2560x1600 this equated to just 4fps, which doesn’t really make a difference above the 60fps mark.
