CrystalDiskMark was one of the first tests I ran upon installing the Crucial Adrenaline and I was shocked by the results. On the first run the Adrenaline took the Western Digital RE4 1TB from 117.3MB/s to a whopping 504.6MB/s. Having run the test a few more times we noticed that the performance did not improve. It seems that NVELO must have optimized the Dataplex software for the CrystalDiskMark benchmark program.
Although the sequential write performance is much lower the Crucial Adrenaline is performing much like a 64GB m4 drive here. Again running the test multiple times did not help improve performance.
Again we find that the read performance of the Crucial Adrenaline is comparable to that of an m4 SSD.
The write performance is typical for that of a 64GB m4 drive and again we found that the Crucial Adrenaline achieved maximum performance on the first run.
The CrystalDiskMark random 4K-QD32 performance was expected based on the previous tests. Here the Crucial Adrenaline provided similar read/write performance to that of a 64GB m4 drive.
