By now we know the 600p really struggles with sustained write performance but PCMark’s tests don’t push the drive hard enough to expose this weakness. That said, they might do a better job of showing a general usage scenario. Here the 600p matched the Kingston Predator.
The video editing test placed the 600p alongside the 750 series along with the SSD 850 Evo series.
The 600p will provide strong performance when launching applications as this is predominately a read operation. As you can see the 512GB 600p isn’t much slower than the 750 series in this test.
Again the gaming test focuses mostly on read performance and this is why the 600p looks respectable here.
