At 2560x1600 with any form of anti-aliasing enabled the Radeon HD 5870 graphics cards just failed to work likely due to a driver bug. A single GeForce GTX 480 averaged 24fps, while adding a second card increased performance by a margin of 92%, with the average frame rate now reaching an impressive 46fps. We ran an additional test with anti-aliasing disabled so we could properly test the Radeon-based boards. With anti-aliasing disabled at 2560x1600 a single Radeon HD 5870 managed to average 28fps, matching the performance of the GeForce GTX 480. However, adding a second Radeon delivered just 32% more performance, while a second GeForce GTX 480 allowed for a much more significant 93% bump.
