The OCZ Vector showed strong performance in the CrystalDiskMark sequential read test with a throughput of 499.2MB/s, which made it 11% faster than the Vertex 4.
When measuring sequential write performance the OCZ Vector was again faster than the Vertex 4, this time by a 5% margin. With a throughput of 493.4MB/s the Vector is now the fastest SSD we have tested here.
The OCZ Vector also provided strong performance in the random 512K benchmark with a throughput of 411.5MB/s, which is comparable to the Crucial m4 and Intel SSD 335.
Again it is the write performance that is the most impressive as the OCZ Vector takes top spot in the random 512K write test with 485.5MB/s, narrowly beating the Samsung SSD 840 Pro.
The random 4K-QD32 performance was impressive as the OCZ Vector hit 382.4MB/s, making it 54% faster than the Vertex 4.
The last CrystalDiskMark test looks at the random 4K-QD32 write performance and here we see the Vector is only slightly faster than the Vertex 4, making it slower than five other drives.
