Benchmarking with Dirt 3 again showed the GTX 780 Super JetStream to be faster than a GTX Titan, rendering 97.2fps at 2560x1600 for a 4% lead along with besting the standard 780 by 13%.
Despite being faster in the frames per second testing, Palit’s solution is actually slightly slower than the GTX Titan when measuring frame time performance.
When driving three high resolution monitors, the Palit GeForce GTX 780 Super JetStream SLI configuration managed 57fps at 7680x1600, making it just 4% faster than the HD 7970 GHz Edition in Crossfire. It’s interesting to note that at 5760x1200 the 7970 GHz Edition Crossfire cards were actually quite a bit faster.
We also found it interesting that despite the very different frame rate performance at 7680x1600 between the various graphics cards, they all delivered virtually the same frame time result. The frame time results at 5760x1200 were however quite different and surprisingly the HD 7970 GHz Edition Crossfire cards did best here.
Testing Metro: Last Light at 2560x1600 pushed the GTX 780 Super JetStream to an average 43.6fps, 6% faster than the GTX Titan and 10% faster than a standard GTX 780, though we should note that at 1920x1200, the GTX 780 Super JetStream was 2% slower than the GTX Titan.
We saw a massive difference in frame time performance between the GTX 780 Super JetStream and the standard GTX 780 – 27% at 2560x1600 – which also made Palit’s kit 8% faster than the GTX Titan.
The GTX 780 Super JetStream SLI cards produced 28.8fps at 7680x1600, 10% faster than normal GTX 780 cards and 26% faster than the HD 7970 GHz Edition Crossfire setup.
The triple monitor frame time performance margins are similar to those seen in the frames per second testing. The GTX 780 Super JetStream SLI cards delivered the best results, taking 53.6ms between frames at 7680x1600.
